  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: fuse the BACK neckline FACINGS, FRONT neckline FACINGS, BACK armhole FACINGS, FRONT armhole FACINGS.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the princess seams on the BACK and FRONT pieces of the main and LINING fabric. Place the LINING with the main pieces wrong sides together, baste along the edges, and then treat as one piece. Stitch the side and shoulder seams.
  2. Stitch the side edges of the lace inserts. Place the upper edges of the insert with the lower edges of the dress BODICE right sides together and stitch. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards, clip the insert's SEAM ALLOWANCE in the center FRONT.
  3. Stitch the princess and side seams on the skirt panels. Stitch the center BACK seam downwards from the mark. Attach the skirt to the lower edges of the lace insert, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the skirt.
  4. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the opening for the fastener to the wrong side, place the ZIPPER under the edges of the opening and stitch.
  5. Stitch the neckline and armhole FACINGS together accordingly. Place the FACINGS with the garment right sides together and stitch. Fold back the FACINGS and topstitch onto the SEAM ALLOWANCE of the attaching seam 1-2 mm from the seam. Press. Turn under the free edges of the BACK neckline FACING and sew to the fastener tape. Turn under the lower ends of the FRONT neckline FACING and sew to the attaching seam of the insert.
  6. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
