CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. FRONT PANEL - 1 piece on fold
- 2. BACK PANEL - 1 piece on fold
- 3. SLEEVE - 2 pieces
- 4. Back neckline FACING - 1 piece on fold
- 5. Front neckline FACING - 1 piece on fold
- 6. Pocket - 1 piece on fold
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: back neckline FACING, front neckline FACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the back and front neckline FACINGS.
- Stitch darts, shoulder and side seams, serge and press.
- Stitch SLEEVE seams, serge.
- Set SLEEVES into armholes.
- On the bottom hem allowance near the seam, serge two loops for ties.
- Ties: two pieces 40 cm long and 3 cm wide. Fold ties in half lengthwise, right sides together, stitch, turn right side out and press.
- Fold the bottom hem allowance to the wrong side and topstitch. Insert ties.
- Stitch FACING pieces, serge the outer edge.
- Place FACINGS with the main garment right sides together and stitch along the neckline.
- Fold the FACING to the wrong side and topstitch the neckline.
- Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the garment bottom hem, turn to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Fold the pocket hem allowances on all sides to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Place the pocket on the garment and topstitch along the top and bottom.
- Stitch a decorative line down the center of the pocket.
- Place small bar tacks at the pocket corners.
