CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Wedge - 8 QTY
- 2. Waistband - 1 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: waistband.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the waistband with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch all side seams of the skirt, leaving an unstitched section for the ZIPPER in the right side seam. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Fold the waistband right sides together with the upper edge of the skirt and stitch, leaving an extension for the fastener on the right back edge of the waistband. Finish the ends of the waistband with a FACING. Turn under the inner edges of the waistband and topstitch from the right side into the seam. On the left end of the waistband, make a buttonhole; on the right, sew on a button.
- Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold under, and topstitch.
