CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 2. BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 3. Waistband - 1 QTY
  • 4. Belt loop - 4 QTY
  • 5. Fly shield - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce the waistband with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Stitch the darts. Press their depths towards the center seams.
  3. Place the FRONT PANELS right sides together, below the slit mark, stitch the front center seam, stopping approx. 2 cm before the inseam line.
  4. ZIPPER CLOSURE: Press the one-piece ZIPPER FACINGS to the wrong side. Stitch the ZIPPER under the edge of the closure allowance (left side) close to the edge. Stitch the free tape of the ZIPPER to the right panel at the one-piece FACING. Fold the fly shield in half lengthwise, stitch the upper and lower short edges. Topstitch the one-piece ZIPPER FACING to the fly shield on the left pant leg. Topstitch the right edge of the slit, catching the FACING.
  5. Place one FRONT PANEL and one BACK PANEL right sides together. Stitch the side seams and inseams. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
  6. Stitch one of the longitudinal edges of the waistband pieces to the upper edge of the pants, placing them right sides together, leaving the closure allowance protruding at the left edge of the slit. Place both pant legs right sides together. Stitch the center seam up to the upper edge of the waistband. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the center seam open up to the curve. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the waistband attachment seams towards the waistband. Fold the waistband right side in, in half its width, stitch the front ends. Turn the waistband right side out, topstitch precisely in the attachment seam from the right side.
  7. Press the pant hem allowance inwards, hand stitch.
  8. On the right end of the waistband, overcast a buttonhole. Sew a button to the left end.
