- MAIN FABRIC:
- FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
- BACK PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
- FRONT NECK FACING - 2 QTY
- BACK NECK FACING - 1 QTY
- SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- CUFF - 2 QTY
- UNDERCOLLAR - 1 QTY
- UPPER COLLAR - 1 QTY
- FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- BACK NECK FACING - 1 QTY
- UNDERCOLLAR - 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL. Press upwards.
- Reinforce the lower end of the placket closure on the FRONT PANEL with a piece of FUSIBLE INTERFACING. Press the integrated placket FACINGS of the closure to the wrong side. Place the FACINGS right sides together on the FRONT PANEL according to the markings, topstitch the FACINGS along the long sides. Cut out the SEAM ALLOWANCE under the placket, slash to the end at an angle. Turn the plackets to the wrong side, straighten them, and topstitch the end of the plackets.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams. Do not catch the closure FACINGS!
- Stitch the UNDERCOLLAR to the UPPER COLLAR, turn out and straighten. Stitch the shoulder seams of the closure FACINGS and the back neckline. Attach the UNDERCOLLAR to the blouse neckline, attach the UPPER COLLAR to the FACING neckline. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Sew the pressed SEAM ALLOWANCES of the UNDERCOLLAR attachment and the back neckline FACING from the inside.
- Complete the SLEEVE seams. Stitch CUFFS into a ring, press along the fold. Attach CUFFS to the SLEEVES. Set the SLEEVES into the blouse armholes, easing the cap.
- Hem the bottom of the garment.
- On the right placket, overcast buttonholes; on the left, sew on buttons.
