Cutter's Must

  • From main fabric:

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the darts on the Back Skirt pieces and press them towards the center.
  2. Stitch the center back seam between the zipper mark and the slit mark. Stitch the side seams. Insert the zipper.
  3. Press the slit seam allowances to the wrong side and topstitch.
  4. Place the Waistband right sides together with the upper edge of the skirt and stitch, leaving the waistband extending beyond the right back edge as an underlap for the closure. Stitch the Waistband ends closed and turn them right side out. Turn under the inner edge of the Waistband and topstitch from the right side, stitching in the ditch of the attachment seam. Make a buttonhole on the left end of the Waistband and sew a button on the right end.
  5. Turn under the seam allowances on the long sides of the Belt-Loop piece and edge-stitch along both long sides. Cut the strip into individual belt loops. Fold under the ends and topstitch the belt loops onto the Waistband.
  6. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, turn under and topstitch.
