Front-Slit Skirt with Three Zippers

CUTTER'S MUST

• From main fabric:
• FRONT PANEL FACING - 1 QTY
• BACK PANEL FACING - 2 QTY
• FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
• FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL - 2 QTY
• BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
• GRAIN LINE piece - 2 QTY
• From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: fuse FACING pieces with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.

Sewing Instructions

1. Stitch darts on the BACK SKIRT HALF, press them towards the center.
2. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES for the ZIPPER insertion on the FRONT PANEL and FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL to the wrong side. Insert the ZIPPER between them, leaving the teeth exposed, and baste. Place the GRAIN LINE piece under the ZIPPER and stitch the ZIPPER from the right side.
3. Stitch the front center seam between the ZIPPER and slit marks. Insert the ZIPPER.
4. Press the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and topstitch.
5. Stitch the skirt side seams.
6. Stitch the side edges of the skirt FACINGS. Place the FACINGS with the upper edge of the skirt right sides together and stitch. Fold the FACING to the wrong side, overcast the open edge. Fold the front center seam of the FACING and sew it to the ZIPPER tape.
7. Topstitch the seams attaching the skirt SIDE PANELS at a distance of 0.5 cm.
8. Fold the hem allowance of the skirt and topstitch.
