- BACK NECK FACING - 1 QTY on fold
- From LINING:
- BACK PANEL - 1 QTY on fold, deducting the width of the neck FACING
- FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY, deducting the width of the FACINGS
- BACK SLEEVE PART - 2 QTY
- FRONT SLEEVE PART - 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: reinforce the FACINGS, COLLAR, back neck FACING, and flap pieces with interfacing. Additionally, press the interfacing to the hem allowances.
Sewing Instructions
- Sew the princess seams of the BACK PANEL and the back SLEEVE parts. From the right side of the seams, topstitch along the BACK PANEL.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL piece to the front SLEEVE part. From the right side of the seams, topstitch along the FRONT PANEL.
- Stitch the shoulder seams and the upper SLEEVE seams.
- Set the lower COLLAR into the neckline of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS and the back neck FACING. Set the upper COLLAR into the neckline of the FACINGS and the FACING.
- Fold the FACINGS with the FRONT PANELS right sides together and pin to the edge seams, pin the edges of the upper and lower COLLAR. Neatly stitch the coat along the edges and COLLAR. Stitch the pressed SEAM ALLOWANCES of the lower COLLAR and back neck FACING together.
- Sew the side seams and the lower SLEEVE seams. Hem the coat. Attach the FACINGS to the hem of the coat.
- Hem the SLEEVES.
- Attach the shoulder pads.
- Stitch the cut pieces from the LINING fabric. Attach the LINING to the inner edges of the FACINGS and the back neck FACING. Hem the LINING.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, overcast the buttonholes. Sew on the buttons.
