  • Rayon challis
  • Crepe
  • Chiffon
  • Silk blends
  • Viscose

Additional Supplies

  • Fusible interfacing
  • Decorative ribbon, 0.5-0.8 cm wide (approximate length indicated on the pattern piece)

Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. You will also need: fusible interfacing, decorative ribbon 0.5-0.8 cm wide (approximate length indicated on the front pattern piece).

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, seam allowances are not included. Seam allowances: Hem allowance – 2 cm; other seams – 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back - 2 pieces
    • Front - 1 piece on fold
    • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Sleeve cap – 2 pieces
    • Collar – 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
    • Back neckline facing – 1 piece

  8. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the lower armhole + 5 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Clip allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
