CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Allowance along the front edge, garment hem - 4.5 cm. Allowance along the sleeve hem, collar ends and stand – 0 cm. Other allowances - 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).
- From main fabric:
- Upper front part – 2 pieces
- Lower right front part – 1 piece
- Lower left front part – 1 piece
- Back – 2 pieces
- Collar - 1 piece
- Upper sleeve part - 2 pieces
- Lower sleeve part – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!
- Stitch the center back seam, press allowances open and topstitch 0.5 – 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Stitch the front princess seams, press allowances open and topstitch 0.5 – 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press allowances open and topstitch 0.5 – 0.7 cm from the seam.
- Fold the garment hem allowance to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Place the collar with the garment, fur sides facing inward, fold the front edge allowance to the wrong side and stitch the lower corner. Stitch the upper corner, simultaneously attaching the collar to the neckline. Turn the front edge allowance to the right side, topstitch to the front. Topstitch the collar attachment seam allowances to the collar.
- Stitch the elbow seam of the sleeve, press allowances open and topstitch 0.5 – 0.7 cm from the seam. Stitch the front seam of the sleeve. Set sleeves into armholes according to notches. Turn the lower sleeve edge to the right side, forming a cuff.
- Sew snaps onto the front pieces according to markings.
