Fabric & Materials

Fabric recommendations: suiting or coating double-sided fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. Also needed: binding tape (approximate length indicated on the front pattern piece).

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS ARE WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance, sleeve hem, front edge, neckline, upper pocket edge — 0 cm, all other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 1 piece on fold
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Pocket – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Overlock the bottom and side edges of the pocket. Bind the upper edge of the pocket with tape. Fold allowances inwards and press. Place the pocket on the right side of the central part and topstitch 0.2 cm from the edge.
  2. Stitch side and shoulder seams. Overlock allowance and press towards the back.
  3. Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock allowance. Set in the sleeve into the armhole. Overlock allowance.
  4. Bind the front edges, neckline, and bottom of the jacket with tape. Bind the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold the bottom edge of the sleeve upwards to form a cuff.
