- From fusible interfacing:
- Cuff - 2 pieces
- Back facing - 1 piece
- Front facing - 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Stitch bust darts (if provided by the entered bust measurement), press the fullness upwards.
- Overlock the top edge of the pocket, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Overlock the pocket sides and press to the wrong side. Topstitch pockets onto the front according to markings.
- Attach the outer back facing to the back, press allowances upwards. Attach the outer front facing to the front, press allowances upwards.
- Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock. Attach the lower sleeve, press allowances upwards and overlock.
- Stitch side seams, simultaneously with sleeve seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch shoulder seams of inner facings, press allowances open. Overlock the outer edge. Place facing and neckline right sides together and stitch. Clip allowances at curves, turn out facing, straighten and press. Topstitch the inner facing into the seam of the outer facing attachment.
- Stitch the cuff into a loop, press allowances open. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half right side out and attach to the sleeve, aligning it with the wrong side of the garment. Overlock allowances, fold the cuff to the right side, and press.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
