Tech. Description

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: 2 buttons, lace trim 2-3 cm wide (approximate length indicated on the front pattern piece).

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams – 1 cm. Hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve bottom – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back - 1 piece on fold
    • Front - 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Belt – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  2. Fold the belt piece lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short sides. Trim allowances at corners, turn the belt right side out, straighten and press.
  3. Stitch side seams, inserting one part of the belt into the left side seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
  4. Cut a bias strip 3 cm wide and 5 cm long. Fold the strip lengthwise in half and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances, turn the piece right side out. Adjust the loop length.
  5. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the length of the front edges and back neckline + 6 cm. Fold the bias binding lengthwise in half, wrong sides together, and press. Fold the binding with the front edge, right sides together, and stitch, inserting the right part of the belt, the rouleau loop, and the lace trim. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip allowances at the curve, and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
  6. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Press and overcast allowances.
  7. Fold the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve by 1 cm, then another 1 cm, and topstitch.
  8. On the left front, overcast a buttonhole, and sew a hidden button opposite it. Sew a button for the rouleau loop.
