- Fuse interfacing to the facing piece.
- Stitch the center front seam, press seam allowances to the left side and overcast. Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back, overcast.
- Cut a bias strip from the main fabric, 4 cm wide and equal to the armhole length. Press the bias strip in half lengthwise, right side out, align with the armhole edge and stitch. Fold the bias strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold.
- Stitch the outer facing to the upper edge of the back, clip seam allowances and press towards the facing.
- Overcast the center back edge separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the notch to the hem. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit. Topstitch the sides of the slit 0.1 cm from the fold.
- Along the upper edge of the front, stitch with a loosely tensioned thread and gather. Stitch the outer facing to the upper edge of the front, clip seam allowances and press towards the facing. Press the remaining unfinished lower edge of the facing to the wrong side.
- Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim seam allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and straighten the rouleau. Cut into loops. The length of one loop is 4 cm.

Turn the inner facing to the wrong side, baste, press. Press the lower edge allowance of the inner facing to the wrong side and topstitch into the facing attachment seam, simultaneously stitching the facings together. Turn short edges inwards and secure.
