Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. ALSO NEEDED: invisible zipper.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance – 1.5 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Front — 1 piece on fold

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Overlock the center back edges separately. Stitch the seam from the zipper mark downwards, press seam allowances open. Insert the zipper.
  2. Stitch the darts on the front, press the fullness upwards.
  3. Along the front neckline, create box pleats according to the markings. Stitch the pleats to the marked length and spread the fullness. Secure the pleats along the neckline edge.
  4. Stitch the right shoulder seam. Overlock the seam and press towards the back.
  5. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias tape 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5 cm. Fold the bias tape in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the bias tape along the neckline edge, right side facing, and stitch. Clip the seam allowances. Fold the bias tape to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
  6. Stitch the left shoulder seam. Overlock the seam and press towards the back.
  7. Stitch the side seams. Overlock the seam allowances and press towards the back.
  8. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias tape 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm. Fold the bias tape in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the bias tape along the armhole edge, right side facing, and stitch. Clip the seam allowances. Fold the bias tape to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the main piece. Press the seam.
  9. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
