This knit top is a versatile and comfortable choice, making it perfect for:
Silhouette: A relaxed-fit top with a modern, slightly cropped length for comfortable wear.
Neckline: Features a classic round neckline, finished with a facing for a clean look.
Sleeves: Short sleeves finished with cuffed details, adding a touch of casual sophistication.
Front Construction: A distinctive crossover front design with overlapping panels creates a unique layered effect at the hem.
Hem: The front hem is shaped by the crossover panels, creating an asymmetrical line, while the back hem appears straight and is finished with a trim.
Intermediate. Requires experience working with knit fabrics, constructing crossover panels, and accurately attaching cuffed sleeves.
Choose knit fabrics with medium stretch to ensure comfort and drape:
No additional notions are required.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: medium stretch knit fabric made of natural or blended fibers in two colors.
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 0.8 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! MARKINGS ON THE PATTERNS ARE MADE ON THE RIGHT SIDE!
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is stitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.
