Introducing a stylish women's top pattern featuring an asymmetric front panel with elegant pleats and a distinctive color-block design.
This versatile top is perfect for adding a touch of contemporary elegance to various occasions, making it an excellent choice for:
Silhouette: A comfortable, relaxed fit that gently skims the body, offering a modern, straight-line profile.
Neckline: Features a classic round neckline, neatly finished with a bias binding for a smooth edge.
Sleeves: Designed with elegant cap sleeves, providing subtle shoulder coverage and a clean finish with bias binding.
Front: Showcases a distinctive asymmetric design with a prominent vertical seam. The left front panel features soft, artfully arranged pleats originating from the neckline, adding texture and dimension. The lower section of the top is designed for a contrasting or complementary color block, creating visual interest.
Back: A clean and simple back panel, including a vertical seam and a horizontal seam mirroring the front's color-block division.
Hem: Finished with a straight hemline, offering a crisp and contemporary base to the top.
Length: Designed to fall at a flattering hip length, suitable for wearing tucked in or out.
Intermediate. This pattern involves working with knit fabrics, precise pleat formation, and accurate application of bias binding for a clean finish.
For the best drape and finish, we recommend choosing low-stretch knit fabrics that maintain shape and comfort:
No additional notions are required.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: low-stretch knit fabric made of natural or blended fibers in contrasting or analogous colors.
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 2.0 cm, other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! MARKINGS ON THE PATTERNS ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE!
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
