Introducing a comfortable knit hoodie dress pattern featuring a stylish hood, practical slit pockets, and classic raglan sleeve construction.
This knit hoodie offers versatile comfort and style, perfect for:
Silhouette: a relaxed, straight-fit tunic or dress length, designed for comfortable wear.
Neckline & Hood: Features a generous hood.
Sleeves: Long raglan sleeves finished with comfortable banded cuffs.
Pockets: Practical front angled slit pockets finished with small leather triangles at the ends.
Hem: Finished with a wide, comfortable knit band.
Intermediate. Involves techniques such as zipper insertion, raglan sleeve attachment, working with knit bands, and hood construction.
Choose knit fabrics with medium or low stretch, made from natural or blended fibers:
If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, seam allowances are not included. Seam allowances: all seam allowances – 1 cm, hem allowance for the outer edge of the hood – 1.5 cm, pocket bag attachment allowance – 0.5 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Note: markings on the patterns are made on the right side of the fabric.
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
