- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- COLLAR stand — 1 QTY
- Right FRONT PANEL FACING – 1 QTY
- Left FRONT PANEL FACING – 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the designated pieces.
- Stitch the waist and shoulder darts on the BACK PANEL pieces. Press dart allowances towards the center seam.
- Stitch the outer COLLAR stands to the BACK PANEL neckline, clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES, and press towards the COLLAR stand.
- On the left BACK PANEL, cut 5 cm along the vertical slit edge. On both BACK PANEL pieces, fuse the slit from the wrong side. On the right side, mark the center seam line (slit fold line). Press the left part along the slit fold line; on the right part, press only the right slit allowance (6 cm) to the wrong side. Align the pieces along the center seam and secure at the upper slit edge. Overlock the center BACK PANEL edge separately on each piece. Overlock the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center BACK PANEL edge from the mark to the slit corner. Clip the corner of the slit seam allowance on the right part. Press the center seam allowances open, press the slit allowances and secure them on the right side with machine stitching. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Stitch the dart on the upper right FRONT PANEL, press the dart allowance towards the center. Overlock the lower edge of the right FRONT PANEL FACING, place it with the upper FRONT PANEL and stitch the neckline edge. Turn the FACING to the wrong side, press.
- Form and secure the pleats on the upper left FRONT PANEL, with the depths directed downwards. Place the left FRONT PANEL FACING with the upper left FRONT PANEL and stitch the upper edge. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the curves, turn the FACING to the wrong side, smooth, and press.
- Place the upper left FRONT PANEL over the right part, align the lower edge of the left FRONT PANEL with the lower edge of the right FACING and stitch. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Topstitch the right FACING onto the left FRONT PANEL, folding back the right FRONT PANEL.
- Stitch the FRONT PANEL insert to the lower FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and overlock. Stitch the upper and lower FRONT PANEL parts, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and overlock.
- Stitch the SIDE PANEL edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock.
- Press the lower allowance of the inner COLLAR stand to the wrong side. Place the inner COLLAR stand with the outer COLLAR stand right sides together and stitch the upper edge exactly to the marked shoulder seam line. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the shoulder edges, placing them between the outer and inner COLLAR stands. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL, overlock. Turn the pieces to the right side. Topstitch the inner COLLAR stand into the seam of the outer COLLAR stand attachment.
- Stitch the SLEEVE edge. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overlock. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, aligning the NOTCHES and easing the cap. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES and overlock.
- Overlock the hem allowance of the dress and SLEEVE, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches. Secure the slit allowance to the hem.
