Fitted Princess Seamed Dress with Gathered Sleeves

7. Front SLEEVE insert — QTY 2
8. Back neckline FACING — QTY 2

• From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
1. Back neckline FACING — QTY 2
2. Front neckline FACING — QTY 1

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the designated pieces.
2. Overlock the center back seam separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark downwards. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit. Insert the ZIPPER. Stitch the back princess seams. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the center.
3. Stitch the center front seam. Overlock the center seam and press to the left side. Stitch the front princess seams. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the center.
4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS. Overlock the outer edge. Place the FACING on the neckline and stitch. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES and turn the FACINGS to the wrong side. Attach the FACING to the shoulder seams and the center seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL.
6. Along the front edge of the SLEEVE between NOTCHES “o”, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Attach the front SLEEVE insert. Press the seam towards the front SLEEVE seam. Attach the back SLEEVE insert. Press the seam towards the back insert. Stitch and press open the SLEEVE seam. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes according to the NOTCHES, easing the SLEEVE cap at the top. Overlock the bottom edge of the SLEEVE, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
7. Overlock the bottom edge of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
