Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the relief seams on the back and front pieces. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center of the pieces. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam.
- Overlock the center and upper edges of the back separately on each piece. Stitch the center edge of the back from the zipper mark downwards. Press open the seam allowances, pressing the slit. Insert the zipper. Fold the upper seam allowances of the center pieces to the wrong side and topstitch 0.4 cm from the edge. Attach the back yoke to the back. Press the seam allowance upwards.
- Overlock the lower edge of the front neckline facing. Finish the upper edge of the center front with the facing, fold the facing to the wrong side and topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge. Attach the yoke to the front. Press the seam allowance upwards.
- Stitch the lower front PANELs. Overlock the seam allowance, press towards the smaller piece and topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam. Stitch the right side seam. Overlock the seam allowance and press towards the back. Overlock the lower edge of the front and back simultaneously. Overlock the lower edge of the lower front PANELs. Fold the seam allowance inwards and topstitch. Fold the front seam allowance inwards and press. Place the lower under the front seam allowance and topstitch from the left side seam to the right, continuing the stitching along the back. Stitch the left side seam. Overlock the seam allowance and press towards the back.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Overlock the seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the inner yokes. Press open the seam allowances. Overlock the lower edges of the yokes. Place the outer and inner yokes right sides together and finish the neckline. Turn the inner yokes to the wrong side and press the neckline. Clip the seam allowances of the inner yokes at the straight notch. Finish the armhole in two steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole. Finish the cut-out on the front and back yoke. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the seam along the lower edge of the yokes, thus securing the inner yokes. Attach the lower edge of the inner yokes into the seam of attaching the outer yokes.
