Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Stitch the princess seams on the back pieces. Finish seam allowances and press towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Finish the seam allowance and press to the left side.
- Finish the outer edge of the facing. Place the facing on the front, right sides together, and stitch along the center front seam and neckline edge. Trim the seam allowance and turn to the wrong side.
- Stitch the center seams of the collars on the yokes. Press seam allowances open. Place the yokes, right sides together, and stitch along the bottom edge, bow, and neckline. Clip the seam allowances at the corners and turn to the right side. Place the yoke on the front and secure along the princess and shoulder seams.
- Stitch the princess seams of the front. Finish seam allowances and press towards the center.
- Clip the seam allowance at the corner of the one-piece collar. Stitch the shoulder seams. Press seam allowances towards the back. Attach the one-piece collar. Finish the shoulder seam allowances and the collar attachment seam allowance simultaneously.
- Stitch the side seams. Finish seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Finish the sleeve edges. Stitch the seam up to the notch for the slit. Press seam allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.2 cm from the fold. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise and stitch the two short sides, stitching the corner up to the mark. Clip the seam allowance at the mark. Turn the cuff to the right side and press. Attach the upper cuff to the sleeve, creating arbitrary pleats. Fold under the seam allowance of the inner cuff and topstitch into the attachment seam of the upper side.
- Along the sleeve cap, stitch with a loosely tensioned thread and gather. Set the sleeve into the armhole. Finish seam allowances.
- Finish the hem seam allowance, press to the wrong side, and topstitch. Finish buttonholes and sew on buttons.
