When To Wear

This dress combines elegance and professionalism, making it a versatile choice for:

  • Professional & Business Settings: Its tailored fit and refined details are perfect for the office or important meetings.
  • Semi-Formal Events: The sheer gathered yoke adds a touch of sophistication suitable for dinners, receptions, or smart casual gatherings.
  • Evening & Occasion Wear: An elegant option for events that call for a chic and understated dress.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a close-fitting, knee-length dress with shaping seams for a flattering, tailored silhouette.

Neckline: Features a round neckline on the main body, complemented by a gathered sheer yoke that extends upwards.

Sleeves: Short, sheer cap sleeves integrate seamlessly with the yoke.

Back: The back features shaping seams and a sheer V-neck yoke matching the front, leading into the sheer sleeves.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires experience with stretch fabrics, gathering techniques, and precise seam matching for a tailored finish.

Fabric Recommendations

Choose fabrics with good stretch and drape to achieve the desired fit and flow:

  • Main fabric: High or medium stretch knit fabrics made from natural or blended fibers.
  • Contrast fabric: Transparent elastic fabric in a complementary color for the yoke and sleeves.

Additional Supplies

No additional notions are required.
