• BACK FACING – 4 QTY
• BACK SKIRT HALF – 2 QTY
• FRONT FACING - 2 QTY
• Upper part of FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
• Middle part of FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
• Lower part of FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
• TRIM STRIP – 1 QTY
• Shaped waistband - 2 QTY
• BACK FACING – 2 QTY
• FRONT FACING - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the pieces.
2. Stitch darts on the BACK SKIRT HALVES. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center. Attach outer BACK FACINGS to the BACK SKIRT HALVES, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards.
3. Overlock the center edges of the BACK SKIRT HALF separately on each piece, simultaneously overlocking the vent. Stitch the center edge from the ZIPPER mark to the edge of the vent. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit for the fastener, press vent SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the left side edge. Press the right side of the vent by 1 cm. Secure vent SEAM ALLOWANCES with machine stitching. Insert the ZIPPER.
4. Overlock one longitudinal edge of the TRIM STRIP. Fold the unoverlocked edge inwards and press. Close the unoverlocked edge with the overlocked one and make two parallel stitches, securing the SEAM ALLOWANCE.
5. Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the middle part, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and overlock. Attach the middle FRONT PANEL to the lower part, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and overlock. Attach the outer FRONT FACING to the FRONT SKIRT HALF, inserting the TRIM STRIP, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards.
6. Fold the shaped waistband pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES at curves, trim at corners, turn the piece right side out, straighten, and press.
7. Stitch side edges, inserting the shaped waistband, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock.
8. Stitch side edges of inner FACINGS. Overlock the lower edge. Fold the FACING with the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Topstitch SEAM ALLOWANCES onto the inner FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching seam. Fold FACINGS to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges of the inner FACING and sew to the ZIPPER tape. Topstitch the inner FACING into the seam of attaching the outer FACING.
9. Overlock the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
10. Fold the raw edge of the TRIM STRIP inwards and topstitch onto the FACING. Sew on a button, securing the shaped waistband to the skirt.
