- Back – 1 piece on fold
- Front – 2 pieces

- From lining fabric:
- Large pocket bag – 2 pieces
- Small pocket bag – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.
- Fuse the welts with fusible interfacing. Mark the pocket placement. Fuse the pocket opening. Press the welt in half lengthwise, wrong sides together. Topstitch the small pocket bag to the inner side of the welt. Attach the welt to the front along the lower pocket marking line. Attach the large pocket bag to the front along the upper pocket marking line. Finish the stitching at the short marking lines. Cut open the pocket. Make diagonal cuts 1-1.5 cm from the end of the pocket. Turn the welt and large pocket bag to the wrong side through the opening. Secure the pocket ends from the wrong side with a double backstitch at the base of the corners. Stitch and overlock the pocket bag edges.
- Stitch the shoulder seam allowances, stitch the side seam allowances simultaneously with the sleeve seam. Press the seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch the cuff into a ring. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise, right sides out, and press. Attach the cuff to the sleeve, easing the sleeve.
- Stitch the hood pieces, overlock the seam allowances. Fold the outer edge inwards twice by 1 cm and topstitch. Set the hood into the neckline of the hoodie, overlock the seam allowances.
- Overlock the placket edges. Overlock one long edge of the placket. Attach the unoverlocked edge of the placket to the hoodie, slightly stretching the placket. Insert the zipper. Wrap the placket around the zipper and topstitch into the zipper attachment seam. Turn the placket inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam of the upper placket edge.
