- Front Yoke - 1 qty
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the outer yokes. Fuse the vertical seam allowance of the flounce.
- Stitch darts on the back skirt half, press the fullness towards the center. Stitch the back skirt halves together. Overlock the seam allowance and press it to the left side. Attach the outer back yoke to the back skirt half, press seam allowances upwards.
- Overlock the outer and lower edges of the flounce. Fold the outer edge seam allowance inwards and topstitch 2 cm from the edge. Fold the lower edge inwards and topstitch. Create and secure pleats on the flounce. Place the flounce on the front, align the edges and treat as one piece (the flounce is shorter than the front at the right side seam by the hem allowance width).
- Attach the outer front yoke to the front, press seam allowances upwards.
- Stitch the right side seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock. Overlock the left side seams separately. Stitch the left seam from the zipper notch to the bottom. Press the seam allowances open, pressing the zipper opening. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch and press open the right side seam of the inner yokes. Overlock the lower edge. Fold the facing with the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Topstitch the seam allowances to the facing 0.2 cm from the stitching line. Fold the facings to the wrong side and press. Fold the side edges and sew to the zipper tape. Topstitch the yokes into the seam of attaching the outer yokes.
- Overlock the lower edge of the skirt, press seam allowances to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
