Key Design Features
Silhouette: a classic pencil silhouette, fitted and skimming the body, finishing at the knee.
Waist: no separate waistband: a contoured, asymmetric front yoke and a back yoke, faced with an inner yoke, give a smooth, tailored finish at the natural waist.
Front: an asymmetrical wrap-effect overlay panel (fly piece) with soft pleats fanning out from the yoke; it is caught into the wearer's right side seam, and its hemmed free edge falls to the hem in front.
Back: a clean back design with waist darts and a center back seam to ensure a flattering fit.
Closure: a discreet concealed zipper is integrated into the left side seam for a seamless appearance.

Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- Back Skirt – 2 pieces
- Front Skirt – 1 piece
- Fly Piece – 1 piece
- Back Yoke – 2 pieces
- Front Yoke – 2 pieces
- From fusible interfacing:
- Back Yoke – 1 piece
- Front Yoke – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the outer Back Yoke and Front Yoke. Fuse interfacing to the vertical edge allowance of the Fly Piece.
- Stitch the darts on the Back Skirt pieces and press them towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Serge the seam allowances and press them to the left. Stitch the outer Back Yoke to the back skirt and press the seam allowances upwards.
- Serge the outer (free) and lower edges of the Fly Piece. Turn the outer edge allowance to the inside and topstitch 2 cm from the edge. Turn the lower edge to the inside and topstitch. Fold and secure the pleats on the Fly Piece. Lay the Fly Piece on the Front Skirt, baste them together along the edges and handle them as one piece from now on (at the right side seam the Fly Piece is shorter than the Front Skirt by the hem allowance).
- Stitch the outer Front Yoke to the front skirt and press the seam allowances upwards.
- Stitch the right side seam, press the seam allowances towards the back and serge. Serge the left side seam edges separately. Stitch the left side seam from the zipper notch to the hem. Press the seam allowances open, pressing the zipper opening allowances as well. Insert the invisible zipper.
- Stitch the right side seam of the inner yokes and press it open. Serge the lower edge. Place the inner yokes (facing) and the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Understitch the seam allowances to the facing 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press. Fold under the side edges and hand-stitch them to the zipper tape. Stitch in the ditch of the outer yoke seam to secure the inner yokes.
- Serge the lower edge of the skirt, press the hem allowance to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
