- 7. Side Front Part – 2 QTY
- 8. Inner Front Yoke - 1 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- 1. Back Yoke – 2 QTY
- 2. Inner Front Yoke - 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the pattern pieces.
- Stitch darts on the back skirt halves. Press the dart folds towards the center. Attach the outer back yokes to the back skirt halves, press seam allowances upwards.
- Overlock the center edges of the back skirt half separately on each piece, simultaneously overlocking the vent. Stitch the center edge from the zipper mark to the edge of the vent. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit for the fastener, press vent allowances towards the left side edge. Press the right side of the vent by 1 cm. Secure vent allowances with machine stitching. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch the side front yoke to the side panel, press seam allowances upwards and topstitch along the seam at 0.7 cm. Stitch the center front yoke to the front skirt half, press seam allowances upwards and topstitch along the seam at 0.7 cm.
- Attach the side panel to the front skirt half, press seam allowances towards the center and topstitch along the seam at 0.7 cm. Stitch the princess seams of the front skirt half, press seam allowances towards the side and topstitch along the seam at 0.7 cm.
- Stitch the side seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch the side seams of the inner yokes. Overlock the bottom edge. Place the yoke with the skirt right sides together and stitch the top edge. Topstitch the seam allowances to the inner yoke at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching line. Turn the FACINGs to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges of the inner yoke and sew to the zipper tape. Topstitch the inner yoke into the seam of the outer yoke attachment.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
- Overlock one long side of the belt loop. Fold the unoverlocked edge inwards and cover with the overlocked edge. Topstitch at 0.1 cm from the edge. Cut the belt loops. Attach the belt loops to the skirt.
