- BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- FLOUNCE – 1 QTY
- BACK FACING – 4 QTY
- FRONT FACING - 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- BACK FACING – 4 QTY
- FRONT FACING - 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the outer FACING pieces.
- Stitch darts on the BACK PANEL, press seam allowances towards the center. Attach outer BACK FACING to the BACK PANEL, press seam allowances upwards and serge. Serge the center edges of the BACK PANEL separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the mark to the bottom edge. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit for the ZIPPER. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Form and secure pleats on the FLOUNCE (depths directed downwards). Serge the bottom edge of the FLOUNCE, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Place the FLOUNCE on the FRONT PANEL, secure along the edges and treat as one piece (the FLOUNCE is shorter than the FRONT PANEL along the right side edge by the width of the hem allowance).
- Attach the outer FRONT FACING to the FRONT PANEL, press seam allowances upwards and serge.
- Stitch the side edges, press seam allowances towards the back and serge.
- Stitch and press open the side seams of the inner FACINGS. Serge the bottom edge. Fold the FACING with the skirt right sides together and stitch the top edge. Topstitch seam allowances to the FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching line. Fold FACINGS to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges and sew to the ZIPPER tape. Topstitch the inner FACING into the seam of attaching the upper one.
- Serge the bottom edge of the skirt, press seam allowances to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
