- 1. Center BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. Side BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 3. Side FRONT PANEL — 2 QTY
- 4. SLEEVE — 2 QTY
- 5. CUFF — 2 QTY
- 6. BACK FACING — 2 QTY
- 7. FRONT FACING — 2 QTY
- From main fabric 1:
- 1. Center FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY on fold
- 2. Neckline FACING of FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL. Overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the center. Stitch the center back seam. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCE.
- Stitch the darts on the center FRONT PANEL. Trim the excess with an overlocker.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Overcast the lower edge of the neckline FACING of the FRONT PANEL. Finish the neckline of the center FRONT PANEL with the FACING. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and secure along the princess seams.
- Stitch the center seam of the BACK FACING. Overcast the lower edges of the FRONT and BACK FACINGS separately. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS. (The BACK FACING is shorter than the shoulder seam of the FRONT FACING). Place the FACING with the garment right sides together, fold the center FRONT PANEL with the SIDE PANEL along the princess seam, positioning it between the SIDE PANEL and the FACING. Stitch the princess seams, simultaneously finishing the neckline. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the side seam. Turn the FACINGS to the wrong side, press and attach to the seams with hand stitches.
- Press and overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, aligning the NOTCHES. Press and overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the side seam and the SLEEVE seam.
- Fold the CUFF right sides together into a loop and stitch the short edge, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Fold the CUFF in half lengthwise right side out, insert the CUFF into the SLEEVE and attach to the lower edge. Overcast the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Turn the CUFF to the right side.
- Overcast the hem of the dress, fold inwards and topstitch.
