Pattern #4323
Tech. Description

Fitted Paneled Color Block Collared Dress

Introducing a sophisticated women's dress pattern featuring a fitted, paneled silhouette, distinctive color-blocking, and an elegant draped collar designed to be secured with a decorative brooch.

When To Wear

This dress is perfect for a variety of occasions where smart, contemporary style is desired:

  • Professional Settings: Its tailored fit and sophisticated design make it ideal for the office or business meetings.
  • Semi-Formal Events: The elegant collar and color-block styling lend themselves well to cocktail parties or daytime gatherings.
  • Everyday Chic: a versatile choice for elevated daily wear, offering comfort without compromising on style.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a flattering fitted, knee-length pencil dress silhouette, enhanced by vertical style lines from detailed paneling.

Neckline & Collar: Features a unique asymmetrical stand-up collar with a draped front, designed to overlap and be secured by a decorative brooch on one side.

Closure: The design features no visible main closure; the stretch of the recommended fabric accommodates comfortable wear, with the collar overlapping at the front neckline.

Sleeves: Long, tailored set-in sleeves constructed with multiple panels for a shaped fit.

Back: Designed with a center back seam and side back panels, contributing to the overall fitted contour of the dress.

Waist: a defined waistline includes integrated belt loops at the side fronts, suitable for wearing with an optional self-fabric or contrast belt.

Hem: a clean, straight hem finishes the dress at a classic knee-length.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Involves precise panel matching for the fitted silhouette, careful construction of the unique draped collar, and accurate setting of the paneled sleeves.
