- 2. Side BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 3. Side FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
- 4. Center FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
- 5. COLLAR - 2 QTY
- 6. TRIM STRIP – 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- On the left center BACK PANEL, cut 5 cm along the vertical slit edge. On both center BACK PANEL pieces, interface the slit from the wrong side. On the right side, mark the center seam line (slit fold line). Press the left part along the slit fold line; on the right part, press only the right slit SEAM ALLOWANCE (6 cm) to the wrong side. Align the pieces along the center seam and secure at the upper slit edge. Overlock the center back edge separately on each piece. Overlock the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center back edge from the neckline edge to the slit corner. Clip the slit seam allowance corner on the right part. Press open the center seam SEAM ALLOWANCES, press the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES and secure them with machine stitching.
- Stitch the back relief edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and overlock.
- Stitch the front relief edges. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at the upper notch of the left side FRONT PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the side edge, overlock.
- Stitch the shoulder edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL, overlock.
- Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 3 cm. Fold the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise, right sides out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge, right sides together, and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip the seams, and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Fold the COLLAR pieces right sides together and stitch the ends and the outer edge between the "O" NOTCHES. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES at the corners, clip at the curves and near the NOTCHES, turn the COLLAR right side out, and press. Stitch the outer COLLAR to the neckline, turn under the inner side and topstitch into the stitching seam.
- Fold the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the long side. Turn right side out, press, centering the seam. Overlock the short sides. Wrap the TRIM STRIP around the COLLAR ends, forming a bow. Attach the TRIM STRIP to the dress, straighten the COLLAR ends and sew to the dress with a few stitches. Create and secure several pleats on the COLLAR above the center back seam.
- Overlock the left side edges separately. Stitch the left side edge, leaving the ZIPPER opening unstitched. Press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Insert the ZIPPER. Stitch the right side edge, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment. Fold to the wrong side, press and hem with blind stitches.
