CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL – QTY 2
- Upper FRONT PANEL – QTY 1
- Lower FRONT PANEL – QTY 1
- FRONT PANEL insert – QTY 1
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also sew the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Finish the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press it to the left side.
- Attach the FRONT PANEL insert to the upper and lower FRONT PANELs. Finish the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them downwards.
- On the FRONT PANEL insert, create pleats according to the markings. The pleat depths are directed downwards. Secure the pleats along the side seam.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Finish the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
- Finish the neckline edge. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch.
- Finish the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
