Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also sew the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the center back seam of the back. Finish the seam allowance and press it to the left side.
  2. Attach the front insert to the upper and lower front PANELs. Finish the seam allowances and press them downwards.
  3. On the front insert, create pleats according to the markings. The pleat depths are directed downwards. Secure the pleats along the side seam.
  4. Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Finish the seam allowances and press them towards the back.
  5. Finish the neckline edge. Fold the seam allowance inwards and topstitch.
  6. Finish the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
