ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). Markings on the patterns are on the right side!

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Stitch the back princess seams, press allowances towards the center seam and overlock. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock and press the seam.
  2. Stitch the front princess seams, press allowances towards the center seam and overlock.
  3. Overlock the lower edges of the FLOUNCES with a narrow rolled hem, slightly stretching the edge.
  4. Press the upper edges of FLOUNCES 1, 2, and 3 1 cm to the wrong side. Topstitch Flounce-1 onto the front along the marked line. Stitch along the pressed edge 1 mm from the fold. Then topstitch Flounces 2 and 3 in a similar manner. Lay Flounce-4 onto the front and secure along the armhole, shoulder, and neckline edges. Lay Flounce-5 onto the front over Flounce-4 and secure along the armhole, shoulder, and neckline edges.
  5. Cut a bias strip of fabric, fold it in half lengthwise, and form a rose.
  6. Attach the yoke to the front, inserting the rose into the seam. Overlock the seam and press downwards.
  7. Overlock the left side seam separately. Stitch the left side seam, leaving the section for the ZIPPER unstitched. Press allowances open. Insert the concealed ZIPPER.
  8. Stitch the right side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  9. Overlock the lower edge of the sleeve with a narrow rolled hem, slightly stretching the edge. Set the sleeves into the armholes. Press and overlock allowances.
  10. Stitch the LINING similarly to the main fabric pieces. Face the neckline. Clip allowances, turn pieces right side out and press. Face the armhole in 2 steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole. Attach the LINING to the ZIPPER tape. Turn up the bottom of the LINING twice by 1 cm and topstitch.
  11. Finish the bottom of the garment with a French hem (also called a "Moscow" hem). To do this, press the allowance to the wrong side by 2 cm, stitch 0.1-0.2 cm from the fold. Trim the allowance close to the stitching. Fold the allowance again and stitch along the previous line. Press the seam.
