Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: Hem allowance for blouse bottom and sleeve bottom – 2 cm, other seams – 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • From main fabric:
    • Back - 2 pieces
    • Front - 1 piece on fold
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Collar – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. At the front neckline, create pleats: the central one – a box pleat; the side ones – with depth towards the center. Secure the pleats with a stitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
  2. Stitch the darts on the back pieces. Press the dart depths towards the center.
  3. Stitch the shoulder and right side seams. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the back. Overlock the left side edges. Stitch, leaving an opening for the zipper. Insert the zipper into the left side seam.
  4. Fold the collar lengthwise in half and stitch the corners. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked collar attachment line. Attach the upper collar to the neckline. Fold the allowance of the lower collar inwards and topstitch it into the seam of the upper collar attachment.
  5. Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the allowance and press it towards the back. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching the marks.
  6. Overlock the bottom of the garment and the sleeve bottom, press them to the wrong side and topstitch.
