Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. You will also need: a concealed zipper, fusible interfacing.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance for the garment and sleeve hem – 2 cm, other seams 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

- Central upper back part – 2 pieces
- Central upper front part – 2 pieces
- Side upper back part – 2 pieces
- Side upper front part — 2 pieces
- Lower front part — 2 pieces
- Lower back part — 2 pieces
- Peplum — 2 pieces
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Front neckline facing — 2 pieces
- Back neckline facing — 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Interface facings with fusible interfacing.
- Stitch the princess seams on the front and back. Overcast allowances and press towards the center of the front and back respectively.
- Stitch darts on the lower parts. Press allowances towards the center.
- Stitch side seams of the upper and lower parts. Overcast allowances and press towards the back.
- Overcast the center seams of the front and back.
- Fold the peplum in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the side edges. Trim corners and turn right side out. Create 4 inverted pleats according to the marks, and secure them with a stitch along the upper edge. Stitch the upper and lower parts of the dress together, inserting the peplum between them.
- Stitch the center front seam. Press allowance open. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper notch to the hem. Insert the concealed zipper into the back.
- Stitch shoulder seams. Overcast allowances and press towards the back.
- Stitch shoulder seams of facings. Press allowances open. Overcast facings along the outer edge. Stitch the neckline with the facing. Clip allowances, clip corner on the front. Turn facings right side out and press. Hand-tack facings to shoulder seams. Attach facing ends to the zipper.
- Stitch the sleeve seam. Overcast allowance and press towards the back. Clip the sleeve slit at the mark. Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide, length equal to double the slit length + 4 cm. Press the bias strip in half lengthwise, fold outer edges to the center and press again. Finish the slit with the bias strip. Set sleeves into armholes, matching marks.
- Overcast the bottom edge of the dress and sleeve. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
