Key Design Features

Silhouette: Fitted sheath shaped by vertical panel seams on the front and darts on the back.

Length: Around the knee.

Neckline: Round neckline finished with interfaced front and back facings; the facing ends are secured to the zip.

Sleeves: Short set-in sleeves in three pieces: front sleeve, back sleeve and a contrast centre sleeve that continues the line of the contrast upper bodice.

Front: Contrast upper front joined to the centre front by a horizontal seam; side lower fronts with angled contrast insets, joined to the centre front by seams running down to the hem.

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: Hem allowance for garment and sleeve hem – 2.5 cm, all other seams 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

Fuse interfacing to the neckline facings.
Stitch the upper front to the center front. Overlock the allowance and press it downwards. Stitch the front inset to the side lower front. Overlock the allowance and press it downwards. Stitch the side lower fronts to the center front. Clip the corner and overlock. Press the allowance towards the center, and on the slanted section — downwards.
On the center back, clip the dart allowance towards the apex by 1 — 1.5 cm. Stitch the back inset to the center back. Overlock the allowances and press them downwards. Stitch the back darts. Stitch the upper back to the center back. Overlock the allowance and press it downwards.
Overlock the center back edges. Stitch the separating zipper into the center back.
Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Overlock the allowances and press them towards the back.
Stitch the shoulder seams of the facings. Press the allowances open. Overlock the facings along the outer edge. Face the neckline with the facing. Clip the allowances, turn to the right side and press. Secure the facings to the shoulder seams by hand. Secure the ends of the facings to the zipper.
Stitch the front sleeve and back sleeve to the center sleeve. Overlock the allowances and press them away from the center sleeve. Set the sleeves into the armholes.
Overlock the bottom edge of the dress and sleeves. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
