Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.

  1. Stitch the back princess seams and the lower front princess seams. Finish the allowances and press towards the center.
  2. Along the lower edge of the upper front part, between the triangular marks, sew gathering stitches with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts together. Finish the allowances and press downwards.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams. Finish the allowances and press towards the back.
  4. Stitch the elbow seam of the sleeve. Finish the allowances and press towards the back part. Set the sleeve into the open armhole, matching the notches. Finish the allowance.
  5. Stitch the side seam and the sleeve seam. Finish the allowance and press towards the back sleeve part.
  6. Fold the collar into a loop, right sides together, and stitch. Turn the collar right side out, fold in half, wrong sides together. Attach the collar to the neckline, matching the notches. The side seam of the collar is located at the left shoulder seam. Finish and press the collar attachment seam.
  7. Finish the bottom edge of the garment and the sleeve hem. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
