  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces
    • Front – 1 piece
    • Yoke – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Insert the concealed zipper.
  2. Along the left shoulder edge of the front, stitch with a loosened top thread and gather. Attach the yoke to the left shoulder edge. Serge the allowances and press them towards the yoke.
  3. Stitch the shoulder edges. Serge the allowances and press them towards the back.
  4. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 5cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Clip the allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  5. Stitch the side edges. Serge the allowances and press them towards the back.
  6. Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the neckline edge right sides together and stitch. Clip the allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  7. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
