CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 3 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back - 1 piece with fold
    • Front – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Cuff – 2 pieces
    • Collar – 2 pieces
    • Front facing — 2 pieces
    • Loop – 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Front facing — 2 pieces
    • Loop – 1 piece
    • Cuff – 2 pieces
    • Collar - 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch bust darts, press seam allowances upwards.
  3. Fold the loop piece lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short sides. Turn the piece right side out, shape, and press.
  4. Clip the front seam allowances at the neckline mark, stitch the center front seam, press seam allowances open and overcast. Clip the front facing seam allowances at the neckline mark, stitch the center front facing seam, press seam allowances open and overcast. Overcast the outer edge.
  5. Place the front facings on the front, right sides together, and stitch the neckline edge, inserting the loop on the right side according to the marking. Press seam allowances, turn the front facings to the wrong side, shape, and press. Topstitch the front facings to the front 0.5 cm from the outer edges.
  6. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast.
  7. Place collar pieces right sides together and stitch the ends and outer edge. Start and end stitching precisely at the marked collar attachment seam. Clip seam allowances, trim corners, turn the collar right side out, shape, and press. Attach the upper collar to the neckline, fold the lower collar seam allowance inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam.
  8. Stitch the sleeve seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, press seam allowances and overcast.
  9. Stitch the cuff into a loop, press seam allowances open. Press the cuff lengthwise in half, right side out. Attach the cuff to the sleeve from the wrong side, overcast seam allowances. Fold the cuff to the right side and press. Hand-stitch the cuff to the sleeve seam.
  10. Overcast the bottom edge, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  11. Sew the button on the left side of the front opening.
