CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 3 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

  • From main fabric:
    • Back panel – 2 pieces
    • Front panel right – 1 piece
    • Front panel left – 1 piece
    • Back facing – 2 pieces
    • Front facing - 1 piece
    • Flap – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Back facing – 2 pieces
    • Front facing - 1 piece
    • Flap – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
  2. Stitch darts on the back skirt panels, press depths towards the center.
  3. Serge the center edges of the back panel separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the bottom, press allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
  4. Stitch darts on the front skirt panels, press depths towards the center.
  5. Clip the allowance of the vertical edge of the left front panel at the mark. Serge both sections: from the top to the mark and from the mark to the bottom. Press the allowance from the mark to the bottom to the wrong side and topstitch. Serge the vertical edge of the right front panel. Press the integrated placket to the wrong side. Place the right panel over the left, aligning the center lines, and topstitch according to the markings.
  6. Stitch the side seams, press allowances towards the back and serge.
  7. Fold the flap pieces in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the short sides. Trim allowances at corners, turn flaps right side out, straighten, and press. Serge the upper edge. Place the flap on the garment according to the markings and stitch (serged edge facing down). Fold the flap down and topstitch to the main piece along the stitching line.
  8. Stitch the side seams of the facings, press allowances open, serge the lower edge. Place the facing with the upper edge of the skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Clip allowances, turn facing to the wrong side and press. Secure to the side seams and zipper tape.
  9. Serge the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches. Hem the allowance of the vertical edge of the right panel with blind stitches.
