CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance 2 cm. Allowance for the curved edge of the flying panel – 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

  • From main fabric:
    • Front panel – 1 piece
    • Back panel – 1 piece on fold
    • Flying panel – 1 piece
    • Waistband – 1 piece
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Waistband – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Fuse the waistband with fusible interfacing.
  2. Overlock, fold inwards, and topstitch the middle and bottom allowances of the skirt's flying panel. Place the flying panel right side up on the skirt's front panel. Secure along the side and upper edges.
  3. Overlock the left side edges separately. Stitch the seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press allowances open. Insert the invisible zipper.
  4. Stitch and overlock the right side edges, press allowances towards the back.
  5. Attach the outer side of the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt. Trim the ends of the waistband, trim seam allowances at corners and turn out. Fold the inner edge of the waistband and topstitch into the attaching seam. Press the waistband when finished.
  6. Sew decorative buttons through the front and flying panels, aligning marks and securing the pieces.
  7. Mark and overlock the buttonhole on the waistband. Sew on the button.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
