CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • From main fabric:
    • Back – 2 pieces

    • Collar – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

  1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing. Also interface the integrated placket of the center front piece.
  2. Stitch the center back seam, press allowances to the left side, serge. Along the upper edge of the back from the shoulder seam to the mark, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the yoke to the back, press allowances towards the yoke, serge. Stitch a topstitch 0.1 cm along the seam.
  3. Along the shaped edge of the front from the shoulder seam to the mark, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Attach the center front to the front, press allowances towards the center front, serge. Stitch a topstitch 0.1 cm along the seam.
  4. Stitch the shoulder seams simultaneously with the upper sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back, serge.
  5. Fold collar pieces right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge. Trim allowances at corners, turn collar right side out, shape and press. Fold collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Start and end stitching strictly at the marked line of the collar stand attachment seam. Turn the finished collar right side out and press. Press the integrated front placket to the wrong side. Attach the outer collar stand to the neckline, fold under the raw edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attachment seam.
  6. Serge the side seams and sleeve seams separately on each piece. Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the sleeve seams, from the slit mark to the bottom. Press allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.1 cm from the edge. Along the lower edge of the sleeve, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
  7. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch the side seams. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam of the outer cuff.
  8. Serge the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  9. On the wrong side of the right front, sew the upper parts of the snap fasteners; on the left front, sew the lower parts. Sew snap fasteners on the cuffs.
