- Front – 2 pieces

- From fusible interfacing:
- Center Front Facing – 2 pieces
- Back Neckline Facing – 1 piece
Attention! The lining Back and Front are cut from the main fabric Back and Front patterns, minus the Back Neckline Facing and Center Front Facing respectively.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the Center Front Facings and Back Neckline Facing.
- Stitch the darts on the Back and Fronts; press the waist dart intakes towards the center and the bust dart intakes upwards.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press the allowances open.
- Fold the Collar lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch the short ends. Trim the allowances at the corners, turn the Collar right side out, shape and press. Attach the Collar to the neckline.
- Stitch the shoulder seams joining the Back Neckline Facing and Center Front Facings and press them open. Place the facings right side down onto the right side of the jacket, pin, and stitch along the front edges, the neckline and the lower front corners. Trim the seam allowances at the corners. Understitch the front edge seam allowance to the Center Front Facing 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the fronts right side out and straighten the seams. Press up the hem allowance of the jacket.
- Stitch the sleeve seam, press the allowances open. Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching the notches, and press the allowances. Attach the shoulder pads.
- Assemble the lining pieces in the same way as the main fabric, leaving an opening in the left sleeve seam. Stitch the lining to the Back Neckline Facing and Center Front Facings, press the allowances towards the facings. Stitch the lining to the lower edge of the jacket and to the sleeve hems. Turn the jacket right side out through the opening. Stitch the opening closed.
- Make buttonholes on the right front and sew the buttons onto the left front.
