Sewing Instructions
- Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing. Also interface the integrated plackets of the left sleeve.
- Press the integrated placket of the left sleeve to the wrong side, fold the allowance inwards and topstitch 0.1 cm from the fold. Lay the front part of the sleeve onto the back, aligning the buttonhole lines, and secure along the bottom edge.
- Stitch the right shoulder seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Attach the right sleeve to the main garment, press allowances upwards and overcast.
- Fold the collar pieces right sides together, stitch the ends and the outer edge. Trim allowances at corners, turn the collar right side out, straighten and press. Fold the collar stand pieces right sides together, insert the finished collar between them and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the collar stand. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked line of the collar stand attachment seam. Turn the finished collar right side out and press. Attach the outer collar stand to the neckline, fold under the open edge of the inner collar stand and topstitch into the attachment seam.
- Overcast the side edges and sleeve edges separately on each piece. Stitch the side edges, simultaneously with the sleeve edges, from the slit mark to the bottom. Press allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.1 cm from the edge.
- Fold the cuff in half lengthwise right sides together and stitch the side edges. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the attachment seam of the outer cuff.
- Overcast the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overcast buttonholes and sew on buttons on the plackets and collar stand. Overcast buttonholes and sew on buttons on the cuffs.
