FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU ALSO NEED: Concealed zipper; fusible interfacing; 2 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance – 2 cm; other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  • Back - 2 pieces
  • Front - 1 piece
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing — 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing – 1 piece
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing — 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing – 1 piece

Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
2. Finish the raw edges of the center back seams separately. Stitch the center back seam from the zipper mark to the hem. Press seam allowances open. Insert the concealed zipper.
3. Form and secure pleats on the left shoulder of the front. The pleat depths are directed towards the armhole.
4. Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back and finish the raw edges.
5. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings. Clip seam allowances and press towards the back. Finish the outer edge. Place the facing on the garment, right sides together, and stitch the neckline edge. Clip seam allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side, and press. Secure the facing to the shoulder seams and the center back seam.
6. Finish the raw edges of the sleeve seams separately. Stitch the sleeve seam from the armhole to the slit mark, press seam allowances open. Topstitch the slit 0.1 cm from the fold. Along the sleeve cap, run a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Set the sleeves into the armholes, press seam allowances and finish the raw edges. Along the bottom edge of the sleeve, run a basting stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
7. Fold the cuff lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch the side seams. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the seam allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
8. Turn up the hem of the garment twice by 1 cm and topstitch.
9. Make buttonholes and sew buttons onto the cuffs.
