Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!

  1. Stitch the contoured edges of the upper and lower back parts, press allowances towards the center and overlock. Stitch the lower and upper back parts, press allowances upwards and overlock.
  2. Stitch the contoured edges of the upper and lower front parts, press allowances towards the center and overlock. Stitch the lower and upper front parts, press allowances upwards and overlock.
  3. Press the allowances of the longitudinal edges of the placket to the wrong side. Place the placket on the front according to the markings and topstitch.
  4. Attach the sleeve to the back, press allowances towards the sleeve and overlock. Attach the sleeve to the front, press allowances towards the sleeve and overlock.
  5. Overlock the upper edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch, leaving unstitched sections on the sleeves. Cut two pieces of elastic tape, place under the upper allowance of the sleeve, secure and topstitch the allowance to the sleeve.
  6. Overlock the edges of the left sleeve and the left side seam separately. Stitch the sleeve seam and side seam from the bottom of the sleeve to the mark, press allowances open. Insert the zipper (zipper pull is at the bottom). Stitch the right sleeve seam simultaneously with the side seam, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  7. Overlock the bottom edge of the sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch, forming a casing. Thread elastic tape through the casing, secure.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
  9. Sew buttons on the placket.
