- Fold the upper center back pieces right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip the allowances, turn the inner to the wrong side and press.
- Overlock the lower semicircular edge of the sleeve, fold inwards and topstitch. Alternatively, you can bind the edge with bias tape; for this, you need to trim the allowance.

- Place the sleeve right side up on the right side of the outer side front and back pieces and stitch. Stitch the inner and outer side pieces along the neckline edge and princess seams, inserting the center front and back pieces. Turn the inner parts to the wrong side and press.
- Stitch the side seams of the outer and inner parts separately. Press allowances open.
- Bind the armhole in two steps: first the front armhole, then the back armhole. Clip allowances and press.
- Stitch the side seams of the back and front waistbands. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
- Stitch the side seams of the lower front and back pieces. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
- Attach the waistband to the upper, press allowances towards the waistband and overlock. Attach the lower of the dress to the waistband, overlock allowance and press towards the waistband.

- Overlock the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
