Fabric & Materials
Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made of natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interlining, 16 buttons. IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE PATTERNS INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES; IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST OF ALL, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED.

- Stitch the back princess seams, press allowances towards the center and overcast. Attach the upper back part to the lower part, press allowances upwards and overcast.
- Stitch the front princess seams, press allowances towards the center and overcast. Along the lower edge of the upper front part, make a gathering stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Stitch the upper and lower front parts, press allowances upwards and overcast.
- Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Cut a strip about 50 cm long and 2.5 cm wide at a 45-degree angle for the loop fasteners. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out and straighten the rouleau. Cut into 12 pieces. Adjust the length of the loops. Stitch the loops onto the right front part (folds facing away from the edge).
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the front facings and back neckline facing, press allowances open. Overcast the outer edge. Place the front facings with the garment right sides together and stitch along the front edges and the neckline edge of the back and front. Clip allowances at curves, trim at corners, turn the front facings with the facing to the wrong side, straighten, and press. Secure to the garment at the shoulder seams.
- Along the lower edge of the sleeve, make a gathering stitch with loosened upper thread and gather. Overcast the sleeve edges separately. Stitch the sleeve seam from the armhole to the slit mark, press allowances open. Stitch the slit 0.1 cm from the fold. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overcast.
- Place cuff pieces right sides together and stitch the side and lower edges. Start and end stitching precisely at the marked seam line for attaching the cuff. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and stitch into the seam of attaching the outer cuff.
- Overcast the hem allowance, press to the wrong side and stitch.
- Sew buttons onto the left front part. Overcast buttonholes and sew buttons onto the cuffs.
