This elegant gown is perfect for truly special occasions, offering a memorable silhouette for:
Silhouette: A dramatic ball gown silhouette, fitted through the bodice and flaring into a full, floor-length skirt.
Neckline: Elegant V-neck halter neckline, providing a sophisticated and open décolletage.
Bodice: A meticulously constructed bodice featuring three layers of fine tulle beneath a delicate lace overlay, ensuring both opacity and intricate texture.
Closure: Invisible zipper closure in the center back seam, complemented by hooks at the back neckline for a secure and seamless finish.
Sleeves: Gracefully sleeveless design, highlighting the shoulders and arms.
Skirt: A multi-layered, voluminous skirt composed of three ethereal organza top layers and one satin underskirt layer, featuring artistic hand-gathered asymmetrical folds on the left side.
Waist: A distinct, folded waistband elegantly conceals the bodice-skirt seam, hand-stitched for a couture finish.
Length: Full floor-length, designed to sweep gracefully.
Advanced. Requires expertise in working with delicate fabrics like lace, tulle, and organza, precise multi-layer garment construction, invisible zipper insertion, and detailed hand-finishing techniques.
For achieving the intended drape and luxurious finish, select high-quality fabrics that hold their shape and offer a beautiful texture:
Fabric recommendations: LACE FABRIC; SATIN; ORGANZA (preferably two or three shades, e.g., milky and creamy white, and pinkish), THIN TULLE FOR BODICE, ready-made underskirt. Also needed: ZIPPER, HOOKS for the neckline closure, decorative LACE TRIM. For finishing: LACE TRIM 2 cm wide is used as a trim, stitched with a zigzag stitch along the neckline and front panel cutouts and the armholes of the bodice (you will need about 3.5-4 m). This way, the raw edges of the LACE FABRIC on the bodice are covered.
If the patterns have a double contour, they include SEAM ALLOWANCES. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Seam allowance for the CENTER BACK SEAM (FOR ZIPPER INSERTION) of the garment - 1 cm. Other seams - 1 cm. ATTENTION! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width should be at least 140 cm) to determine how much material you will need. When stitching pieces, pay attention to the NOTCHES - they must match! Try to observe the GRAIN LINE direction.
